Did you know most agents and publishers expect a pitch package, not just pages?
A strong query usually needs three parts: a compelling elevator pitch, a polished synopsis/abstract, and a sample that opens at full strength.

Pitch combines close editorial work with strategic guidance. Together, we refine a 30-page sample, shape a concise abstract, and develop a clear elevator pitch you can use in submissions, emails, or conversations.

What’s included

  • A 1,000 word report with guidance on structure, voice, pacing, and marketability.

Who it’s for

  • For writers who are preparing to query agents or publishers—whether you have no chapters yet and want to write with the pitch in mind, or you already have opening chapters and want to refine them into a coherent pitch package.

  • For writers whose manuscripts have been rejected and who want to reposition their project before submitting again.

Requirements

  • 0–30 pages from the beginning of your novel, depending on the option selected (see below).

  • 0 pages — Ground Pitch
    Guidance in a 1:1 45-minute Zoom-call on how to craft the opening chapters of your novel, alongside support in shaping a clear synopsis and elevator pitch.

    Up to 35 pages (max. 8,000 words) — Standard Pitch
    I’ll proofread and edit your pitch-sample and provide editorial comments in a 1,000-word written report on what’s working and what to strengthen. This regards the opening chapters of your novel, a synopsis, and an elevator pitch, with a combined maximum of 8,000 words.

    An optional revision round is available for both services, giving you the opportunity to implement the feedback and receive a final review of your revised pages and pitch materials.
